This recipe for Maple Cranberry Almond Scones makes for a great Saturday morning breakfast! Ingredients: 2 cups flour 1 tablespoon baking powder 1 teaspoon salt 1/3 cup oil 1/3 cup maple syrup (plus more for glaze) 1/4 cup cold water 1 1/2 teaspoons vanilla extract 1 1/2 teaspoons almond extract 1/2 cup dried organic cranberries 1/4 cup sliced roasted organic almonds Directions: Preheat oven to 375 degrees. Mix flour, baking powder, and salt in medium bowl. Make a well in the middle and add oil, maple syrup, water, vanilla and almond extracts. Stir until just blended (about 30 seconds).
