Known for its cutting-edge outdoor footwear and apparel, Merrell is now taking its love for the outdoors to a whole new level, by unveiling the interactive Oculus Rift project - Merrell Trailscape.
The event marks the first ever commercial use of "walk around" virtual reality. When guests put on the Oculus Rift headset, Trailscape will virtually transport them on a thrill-seeking journey where they scramble along rock ledges and navigate a suspension bridge between mountain peaks.

erience is designed to provide people with a greater connection to the outdoors. By providing guests with an exhilarating state-of-the-art experience, Merrell hopes to inspire them to get out and have their own outdoor adventures.
Merrell's Trailscape will take place during Sundance from January 22 to 25 at 625 Main Street in Park City, UT. All are welcome to take part in the experience. In addition, there will be a gifting studio, junket event space and celebrity portrait studio. Guests will also have an opportunity to test Merrell products.
